Forest City: Central—The Oaks
The Oaks meet in the home of Verlyn and Beth Swanson, which is located in the northwest Rockford neighborhood of “The Oaks.” This house church is lead by Verlyn Swanson. Those that live in the northwestern part of Rockford, Loves Park, and Machesney Park gather together on Sunday nights at 5 o’clock for a Lord’s Supper meal, fellowship, and teaching.
